Find the actual allowance
Look up the current baggage terms for your carrier, ticket, route, and any connection. Do this before treating the planner’s group clothing total as a feasible load. Allowances and item rules can vary, so this site does not state universal size or weight limits.
If several travelers share luggage, note which booking applies to each bag. Do not assume every traveler has the same allowance.
Sort by when items are needed
Keep the documents and reservations check separate from clothing counts. Make a small list of items needed during travel, then put later-use items in the main bag according to the relevant provider rules.
Review any restricted or special items directly with the carrier and applicable authority. The planner does not evaluate security rules.
Test the physical pack
Lay out the items from the printed list and pack the actual bag. A count of six tops says nothing about fabric bulk. Use the bag’s measured capacity and weight as the deciding evidence.
If the bag is over its limit, reconsider repeatable outfits or a realistic laundry session before removing an essential personal item.
Record final decisions
Edit the TXT copy or write on the printout to show what was removed, shared, or purchased at the destination. Ask other travelers to confirm their assignments so one missing cable or document is not blamed on an unclear list.
Repeat the bag check after souvenirs or extra gear are added. The estimator is useful when its assumptions remain visible through the final pack.
